B-12 Topical Cream
B-12 (cyancobalamin) is essential for the formation of red blood cells and is responsible for the body’s carbohydrate and energy production. A B-12 deficiency would result in fatigue and possible anemia. B-12 also ensures normal nerve cell activity and tissue formation. However, there is another form of B-12 called methylcobalamin and it is the only form of B-12 that can be utilized by the central nervous system and support neurological functioning. Methylcobalamin plays a key role in the methylation process in the brain to convert homocysteine to methionine. Lower homocysteine levels are important for healthy cardiovascular functioning and stamina. Methylcobalamin can also participate as a methyl donor in the synthesis of SAMe, a substance that has powerful mood properties which affects behavior, emotional balance, and cognitive functioning. In some people, the liver does not convert the cyanocobalamin form of B-12 into adequate levels of methylcobalamin making supplementation advisable. The problem then becomes whether the brain can absorb enough methylcobalamin to methylate. The body’s ability to absorb B-12 normally declines with age, so it would seem appropriate for the elderly population to choose methylcobalamin over cyancobalamin. However, there are many people who suffer from malabsorption issues such as the Leaky Gut Syndrome, Gut Dysbiosis, and a permeated blood-brain barrier with heavy metal toxicity of mercury and lead. Until now costly intramuscular injections of B-12 have been the only solution to ensure absorption of methylcobalamin in the brain due to the malabsorption issues of the G.I. tract. However, a Transdermal B-12 Methylcobalamin will by-pass the G.I. tract and absorb cutaneously into the skin: a simple, cost-effective way to ensure total neurological absorption. 1/8 of a teaspoon everyday on the thin skin of the inside arm is an adequate amount that can be immediately absorbed into the body. Ingredients: Deionized Water, Polyacrylamide, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Laureth 7, Lecithin, Phenoxyethanol, Alcohol, Lemon Verbena Oil, Phospholipids, Methylcobalamin. |
