Autistique 2.0 Topical Cream
In the early 1980s, one out of 10,000 children was diagnosed with autism, a relatively unknown communication disorder, affecting all of the developmental milestones including the nervous, immune, sensory and neurological systems. Today, autism and autism spectrum disorders have reached pandemic proportions around the world with an increase of 6,000 percent! The frightening numbers: one out of every 66 male children and one out of every 150 female children is autistic. Many clinical studies for cognition have verified the clinical significance of PS as a brain nutrient providing metabolic support for memory, learning, concentration and behavior. Idebonone is a variant of Coenzyme Q10 with all its benefits, plus many more, including cognition enhancement. It is also well known for its neuronal protection against excitatory amino acid neurotoxicity from MSG, aspartame, soy, gluten, casein, flavor enhancers etc. It also protects both the myelin sheath – the fatty layer that protects the nervous system, and the mitochondria, where nutrients are converted into energy. Folinic Acid is the metabolically active form of Vitamin B-9, folic acid. It has the ability to cross the blood- brain barrier to affect neurological functioning. This particular benefit has enabled folinic acid to be more easily assimilated into the central nervous system as well, much more effectively than folic acid. Trimethylglycine(TMG) also known as Glycine Betaine, is important in neurological functioning because of its methylation properties. TMG is known for its primary biochemical process of converting the dangerous amino acid homocysteine into a beneficial amino acid called methionine. TMG and Folinic Acid are also the precursors to SAMe which is the body’s universal methyl donor that can improve mood, energy, well-being, alertness, concentration and visual clarity. L-Carnosine is a dipeptide (the amino acids Alanine and Histidine) that occurs naturally in the muscles and the brain. Research indicates that L-Carnosine stimulates the front lobal areas of the brain increasing activity, which may stimulate emotional responses, decrease epileptic activity, and increase cognitive functioning, expressive speech and abstract thinking. Acetyl L Carnitine is a carnitine derivative naturally produced in the brain, liver and kidneys by the amino acid L-Carnitine. The acetyl group of acetyl-l-carnitine is used to form acetyl-CoA, the most important intermediary in the generation of energy from amino acids, fats, and carbohydrates; and is also used to make the important brain chemical acetylcholine. One quarter teaspoon contains 25 mg (250 mg oral equivalence). Vitamin B-12 (Methylcobalamin) is essential for the formation of red blood cells and responsible for the body’s carbohydrate and energy production. A B-12 deficiency would result in fatigue and possible anemia. The form of B-12 called methylcobalamin is the only form of B-12 that can be utilized by the central nervous system and support neurological functioning. Methylcobalamin also participates in the methylation process in the brain to convert homocysteine to methionine. Lower homocysteine levels improve neurological functioning. One quarter teaspoon contains 500 mcg (5000 mcg oral equivalence). Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is an important antioxidant that is both fat-soluble and water-soluble. It facilitates the production of energy in cells and enhances the effectiveness of other antioxidants, regenerating vitamins C and E. Lipoic Acid is an effective chelating agent for heavy metals, poisons and toxins. ALA can also increase cellular glutathione levels. One quarter teaspoon contains 12 mg (120 mg oral equivalence). Vitamin B-1 (Thiamin) plays key roles in the body’s energy production, the digestion of carbohydrates, the regulation of nervous system function, muscle and heart function, appetite stabilization, and promotes growth and good muscle tone. One quarter teaspoon contains 50 mg (500 mg oral equivalence).
